Today we are in the midst of our first snowfall of the season... Let me just say, that it has not been the best first snowfall of my life! My power went out earlier this afternoon, then I was woken up from a nap by one of my neighbors who told me that a large tree branch had fallen on my car, and then my 87 year old neighbor slipped and fell on the curb while trying to help get the branch off!

Needless to say, it has not been a good start to an already dreaded season. I hope this is not an indication of what's to come... Sigh... fortunately my power recently came back on so now my apartment is warming up and I can make a hot dinner! I'm going to have soup and grilled cheese and then I'm going to make a big pot of homemade applesauce... Yum!

While trying to look on the bright side, I decided to make a snowfall inspired treasury and I'm pretty happy with how it looks! Click here to check it out!

Cocktail Time - Treasury Feature

Peachy Pop was just featured in a really fun cocktail inspired treasury! I love the 1940's vibe in this collection so I just had to share it. Take a peak and enjoy :)

The Bow & Arrow

I wanted to take a moment to share with you all a project I've been working on for a little while... My new Etsy store, The Bow & Arrow! This second store is all handmade jewelry made by yours truly. I use vintage fabric and buttons and throw in some chains as well! Here are a few pics of some of the items I have just listed:
Please take a moment to check out the rest of the store! Thank you!

Shake Ya Tail Featha

This morning on my way to work, my favorite radio station (yes, I sometimes still listen to the radio... don't judge!) decided to play a throwback song... Shake Ya Tail Feather. Exactly how far does that throw me back, you ask? I'd say about 8th grade... ahhh the memories. It was the perfect song to play at 9:00AM as I pulled into my work parking lot. Then I remembered that I was not in 8th grade anymore and the tail feather shaking had to stop... that's only ok in my car, and far from work.

In honor of this oldie but goodie (although I'm a little embarrassed that I just called this a goodie...), here are some of my favorite feather finds on Etsy!
I am in love with this feather print dress. It still looks summery, but I think the colors could work perfectly for fall. Just throw on a sweater, some tights and boots and you're in business!
Ummm... Who doesn't need a feather letter opener?! (I also dare you to say that ten times fast...)
And last but most definitely not least... these feather enclosure cards are fantastic. Perfect for any fall or winter gift giving! If you're diggin these, click on the link. There are tons more feather printed cards in a variety of other styles!

Happy Weekend!

Typewriter Stole My Heart

Wanted to make one last post for tonight because I just added a few new items to the shop! One of them being what is probably my favorite item I have ever posted. It's a vintage Smith Corona typewriter in a beautiful robins egg blue color. I am seriously in love with this bad boy...  Brace yourselves... he might steal your heart too!

The Vintage Kitchen

Today Peachy Pop was featured in a beautiful vintage kitchen themed treasury! I thought it was such a fun grouping of items that I had to share it.
To view the treasury on Etsy, click here.

My item is the polka dot yellow and white bowl in the fourth row.

The creator of this blog is Julianne Kiley (or Boo25). She sells her beautiful photography in her Etsy store. Her photos remind me of those ISpy books from when I was a kid, only much prettier!! Please check out her shop here.

Milk Glass Totem Pole

What. Is. This...

My opinion? I think that a milk glass bowl should be a milk glass bowl... on my shelf... looking pretty... or holding cookies. I prefer my milk glass in non-totem form.

Holy cow I can't believe it's been so long since I posted... Over a whole year? That's totally unforgivable.

I've decided to start a new thing called "Must Have Monday" where I post my favorite etsy finds of the day. I know that the name is sort of un-creative, but it's all I've got for now. I'll come up with something better later! But enough of all that, let's get to the favorites!

This looks amazing... almost looks yummy, but you can't eat body butter! (So I'm told)

I am literally dying over this luggage set... Must. Have. This.

Ok friends, that is all the time I have for tonight. Must get some rest before work tomorrow! Sweet Dreams!
